2002 - 2003

O.P.E.N. Chairperson, Jane Ann Cotton, is proud to announce the selection of the High School Students from Smila. These students have been attending High School in Smila, Ukraine. The students are due to arrive in Chicago after a long airplane ride from Kiev, Ukraine, through Warsaw, Poland and on to Chicago. The will arrive in Chicago around 7:30 pm. Several of the O.P.E.N. Board members know both these student and their parents.

Jane Ann Cotton said, "We certainly are looking forward to the students arrival".
Due to lateness of their arrival in Chicago, the students will arrive in Newton Sunday. Ann Hnida will be staying with the family of Mark & Michelle Modlin. Lena Odnoromanenko will be staying with the Bruce & Rose Trapp Family.
